DICTATION
Yesterday the Fords went for a drive in the country because they wanted to see the English countryside. They had a very nice time. It was a sunny day and rather warm for that time of the year. Mr Ford didn’t want to leave the car on the main road, so he left it behind an old stone cottage. Then they walked up a hill. When they got to the top they had lovely view of the countryside. From up there they saw green fields trees in blossom and a river in the distance. It was peaceful. They heard only the birds in the woods. They stayed there for at least three hours. They really enjoyed their day in the country.
